OOTD; Touch Down in Milano

For my birthday James booked for us to take a trip to Milan, Italy. Being a fashion blogger and fashion student this was the perfect European trip to take. James’ family have Italian roots so I’m also hoping he will help out with speaking to the locals haha!

We flew to Milan from London which isn’t as long of a flight as you would think, just an hour and a half. As soon as we got here we headed out and got our bearings of the area. We visited the central station area and admired the building as well as heading to the business city centre to experience the skyscrapers of modern Milan.

Checking into our hotel we have found we are in a great location and have picked the brains of the concierge to find restaurant recommendations and details for all the things we should do whilst we are here!

After taking five minutes to chill we are off out for dinner this evening at a recommended restaurant. Mamma Osteria Grill located right near the Milan centre station was such a cute restaurant. The restaurant was called Mamma Rosa Osteria Grill and was honestly such a great find. It wasn’t too expensive and the food was incredible. We even shared a bottle of the most gorgeous rose; and they brought us a welcome prosecco and bruschetta! Now that’s good service. The service was incredible and they were so accommodating and the atmosphere with great; very lively but not too loud.

In terms of outfits; my flight outfit was what I was heading straight out in so I made sure I was fashionable and comfortable.

I started with my black frayed edge Topshop Joni jeans; so comfortable and stretchy for a long day out.

I then paired this with my roll neck pearl Jumper from Cosmic Edge Fashion Instagram boutique. (BLOG POST COMING SOON) Check out the page on Instagram for great trend pieces and styles. Pearls are so on trend right now and this grey colour is great for this time of year without feeling like you’re constantly wearing black. The Jumper is so soft and the roll neck gives you fashion and extra warmth on these cold November days.

The pearl Jumper was styled with my new Missguided Burgundy Faux fur coat which I’m obsessed with! Fab to brighten up any outfit; worn on and off the shoulders for a seriously high fashion look. I then wore my Office slip on gem trainers and my new Gucci red handbag. Not to mention my trusty LuLu Guinness lips travel suitcase; this size is perfect for weekend aways.

I love getting glam for the evening wherever I am. Even if it’s a casual place; I love dressing up so I’m going to! I teamed this wrap around mosaic pattern playsuit from In the Style with a cute little bralet from Missguided underneath.

Literally love the way this fits and the arms are just to die for. Make me feel like a dancer with the shape of the sleeves. I then paired this playsuit with my trusty Topshop metallic silver heels that aren’t the most comfortable but comfortable enough for heels. Let’s put it this way, I can walk and stand up so that’s a blessing!

In terms of accessories I paired this gorgeous trend earrings from Cosmic Edge Fashion that literally are just the statement of this outfit. Love them! And my grey velvet quilted bag also from Cosmic Edge Fashion. This bag is so cute and looks so high fashion and expensive with the chain detail strap and velvet feel. It’s so roomy as well, I can fit so much in this bag without it looking like it.

Stay Sassy and be ready for more Milano adventures and outfits xox
