How do fashion students get ready for a night out? – The Rah Rah Rooms

A night out with the girls is just the perfect solution to all your problems. That isn’t a myth ladies, it is the truth. I had a night out with my best friends on Friday night and I wanted to do a get ready with us style post, not only to review the club we went to for all of you but also for some clubbing style get the looks. Considering we are all fashion students you know…

So we will start off with where we went. We went to RaRa Rooms in Piccadilly, London. RaRa is a cabaret style show at the beginning of the evening and then a club as the night continues. We were lucky enough to have VIP seating for the show as well as for the entire night. The drinks were flowing and we all had a great night. The interior of the club felt like I had gone back in time and everything was very glamourous in a quirky and exaggerated way. The cabaret show was an incredible part of the evening as well. The show featured incredible entertaining performances from talented singers, firebreathers, circus stuntmen and jugglers. It was an incredible start to the evening. I would definatly suggest watching the cabaret show at Rah Rah Rooms. It would be great for a night out with the girls or boys, a work do or even a date night; there were various different people in the crowd. You can get more information about the show and Rah Rah Rooms at their website linked here.

So now I’ll move onto the get ready with us part of the post. I’ll start with myself. I was wearing this black bardot style sequin sparkly dress. I loved this dress and felt so sparkly and glam all night! I loved the way the sequins hang off the dress and the back was a sort of mesh see through effect which really added an extra something to the dress. I styled the dress with a black clutch bag and my metallic silver heels. For my make up I wanted something that would pop so I created a black smokey eye using my Naked Basics Palette and a bold red lip using my MAC liquid lipstick in the shade ‘Dance With Me” I then curled my hair using my Mark Hill Mix and Match culers and the chopstick head, to finish my glam look.

Moving on to the birthday girl, Silva. Silva looked gorgeous on the night and her outfit was just incredible. Silva wore this stunning delicate lace body which showed off her figure incredibly. She wore this will a drop hem white bodycon midi skirt which really added class to the outfit and went perfectly with the lace body. She styled this with her nude louboutin stilettos and a nude louis bag. Silva’s make up was done professionally at MAC and included a brown glitter pigment smokey eye and a matte coral lip. Silva curled her hair using rollers and lots of hair spray. I loved Silva’s look on the night because she looked so classy yet her outfit was so fashionable and risky at the same time. Not everyone could pull off this look as well as she did. I certainly couldn’t.

Abbie’s outfit was more simple than mine and silva’s for sure. But Abbie takes simplicity and makes it look elegantly fabulous. It really is one of the things she does best. The nude dress complimented Abbie’s hair perfectly which was gorgeously styled in waves. The bandage body con style of the dress Abbie was wearing complimented her figure perfectly. She styled the dress with her nude Jimmy Choo stilettos and a louis clutch bag. Abbie’s make up was simple, stunning and a nude glossy lip stood out and went perfectly with the entire look. Abbie’s look was a neutral dream. The nude colour trend is all the rage right now and Abbie really made this look work for her. The neutral shades really suit Abbie because of her tanned skin and dark hair and her darker shade accessory pairings really made the nude banadage dress the centre of the outfit.

Libby tends to dress in the darker colours on a regular basis for example blacks, greys, browns, navy etc. On this night Libby did not disappoint and she rocked the little black dress look. Her body con dress hugged her figure gorgeously and added a gorgeous detail with the cut out shoulders and high neckline. Libby paired the dress with a mulberry clutch bag and trendy lace up stiletto heels. Libby’s make up look consisted of a simple silver and black smokey eye with dark black liner and a nude glossy lip. I loved Libby’s LBD  look, making another simple style wearable and perfect for a night out. Also incoporating various trends of the now including cut out shoulders and lace up heels.
